NDC’s election petition attacked the EC Justices without justification.

According to a member of the presidential staff, Mr. Dennis Miracles Aboagye, it was clear that the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC’s) assertions that the 2020 elections were rigged were untrue.

He characterised the NDC as a bunch of swindle artists who continually subject their supporters to emotional ups and downs.

His remarks come after Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the NDC’s departing general secretary, revealed that the party was unable to compile its results for the 2020 elections.

In a meeting with delegates in the Bono Region, Mr. Nketia, a candidate for the position of National Chair of the NDC, blamed the current chair Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, who is running for reelection as well, for their inability to compile the data necessary to contest the results of the electoral commision despite having filed a petition with the Supreme Court.

Asiedu Nketia served as the lead witness in Mr. John Dramani Mahama’s petition, which was dismissed by the Apex Court on March 4, 2020, because it lacked merit.

Numerous NDC members, including Mr. John Dramani Mahama, harshly criticised the justices of the highest court.

Mr. Dennis Miracles Aboagye tweeted in response to Mr. Asiedu Nketia’s admission that the NDC was unable to compile its results: “It’s always been evident they misled, insulted, and attacked our judges without cause. However, it goes without saying that this collection of self-assured con artists enjoys sending their fans on emotional whirlwinds.

Only God knows how the NDC adherents are able to endure these. LEGENDS.”
