Assin Nsuta:Defection hit NPP as 234 Members defect to NDC

About 234 NPP members in the Assin south constituency in the Central Region have vowed to henceforth joined the Opposition party National Democratic Congress The NDC.

This defection according to the members was triggerd by the fact that the rulling new patriotic party (NPP) has failed and disappointed them in all ways including lack of development in the Constituency for years of working hard to bring the party into power since Ghana’s democratic stance. According to them, they were as well denied to pick form to contest in the just ended polling station elections hence their decision to boycott the NPP party.

Among the defect members are Some top executive members in the constituency like the Nsuta NPP women Organizer Cecilia Tenkorang , Dadiasoaba NPP formal Youth organizer , Asare popularly known as Figo etc. Have all decided to ignore the NPP to join The NDC.

The activity was Graced by some top constituency executives of the Newly joined NDC including the Deputy Regional youth organizer Mr. Francis Asmah, Assin central NDC parliamentary candidate 2020 Nurein Shaibu Migyimah, Dawood Aboagye, constituency chairman Assin south ,Agnes Brefo NDC women organizer were all presence to Grace and receive the Defect members of the NPP to the NDC.

Speaking to the media, Dawood Aboagye, NDC constituency chairman Assin south said he warmly welcomed them into the part and urged them to work hard to bring the NDC into power in the coming elections.

In the process to show their loyalty to their newly joined political party The NDC, the New patriotic party Flag was flamed and burn into ashes .

According to Defect NPP members, they will work hard to bring John Dramani Mahama and the NDC into power in the coming election to eradicate The hardship and suffering the current NPP Administration is taking them through.
