Hon. Richard Gyan-Mensah -MP Gomoa West Writes

On Sunday 17/10/2021, I honoured an invitation from the St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Dawurampong Parish, to welcome Archbishop Charles Gabriel Palmer-Buckle on his Familiarization Tour to the Gomoa West District. Also present were the Odikro of Gomoa Dawurampong, Nana Korko Mensah and his Council, Former Members of Parliament for Gomoa West, Hon. Francis Kojo Arthur and Hon. Alex Kojo Abban, and the Divisional Police Commander for Dawurampong Division.

I gave my assurance to the Bishop after he shared his plight on the usage of our road that, as I’ve worked with stakeholders and appropriate authorities to supplement the effort of my predecessors for the successful completion of the LOT 2 (Gomoa Afransi – Gomoa Denkyira), I will continue in the same effort to ensure that LOT 1 (Gomoa Ankamu- Gomoa Denkyira) is also successfully completed and on time.

I seized the opportunity to reassure my people of my support for the proposed Anti-LGBTQIA+ Bill laid in Parliament. This is what they, my people, requested of me during my engagements with them. I thanked the Roman Catholic Church in the District for their continuous support and partnership in the development of our District.
