Rev Owusu Bempah’s aide to be arraigned before court after his arrest over death threats to Ghana police

Personal assistant to the head pastor of Glorious Word power Ministries international, Rev Owusu Bempah, Bright Berchie who was declared wanted by the Ghana police few days ago has been arrested.


The Accra Regional Command of the Ghana Police service arrested Bright Berchie on the basis of death threats to the police service and other unlawful activities.


According to the police in a release,Bright Berchie was declared wanted and has been arrested  not only on the offense of death threats at the police service but he possessed some firearms which were not authorized.


The suspect believed to be 30 years was a also spotted in a viral video on the internet brandishing weapons,exhibiting some offensive conducts and death threats to the officers of the Ghana police.


In the release, the police stated that they arrested Bright Berchie and retrieved some of the firearms he threatened the police with.


They further added that the suspect will be arraigned before court as they continue to investigate the issue.


Meanwhile, Rev Owusu Bempah and his guards had their share of the arrest weeks ago over some misconduct which was identified by the Ghana police as unlawful.


His arrest lured some big wigs in both the NDC and NPP government to plead for his release and as well sent delegations to him after he was admitted in the hospital from a court proceedings.
