The former Speaker of Parliament was among hundreds of mourners who attended the funeral of the late wife of the Former District Chief Executive of Akatsi South District Assembly, Hon. Samuel Kwadzo Wuadi.
The late Bedi Doevi, before her demise a couple of months ago had been indisposed; and was bedridden for a while.
According to the accounts, she was a caring mother to her family and the members of the National Democratic Congress in her catchment area.
The former speaker of Parliament under the John Dramani Mahama-led Government, R.T Hon. Edward Doe Adjaho was among the dignitaries that thronged Atsive, a farming community in the Akatsi South Constituency, on Saturday, 4th September 2021 for the final funeral rites of Madam Doevi Bedi, Wife of Mr. Samuel Kwadzo Wuadi.
The former speaker despite the rain interacted with party activists and the grassroots of his party (NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS) present at the funeral.
Dressed in a black outfit(mourning cloth), The National Democratic Congress Bigwig, in the company of other party officials paid their last respect to Mr. Samuel Kwadzo Wuadi’s wife amid drumming and dancing in the rain.
Mr. Speaker who was seen exchanging pleasantries with some of his constituents has also received a rousing welcome from members and sympathizers of his party who had gathered to mourn with the bereaved families.
The funeral of the late Mad. Doevi Bedi attracted several key stakeholders in the country.
