Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui Visit Senya Traditional Council

The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West Constituency Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui has paid a courtesy call on Ampabo Nenyi Kweku Issiw VI and Senya to express her gratitude and deference for their support and prayers.

The Member of Parliament also met with sub-chiefs at Senya and queen mothers on separate sessions for hearty discussions on developmental issues. Asafo groups dressed in traditional regalia majestically ushered MP into the palace singing amidst chanting of war songs and appellations.

In a submissive disposition Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui recounted some of her achievements in Senya so far, including the presentation of scholarships to 30 tertiary students across board, free eye screening and cataract surgeries for some residents in Senya, the planting of over 200 coconut seedlings at the beach at Odomesah Nkwanta, and kyenkyeso. She also briefed Nananom on the state of the Senya market, Senya projects under CODA, the landing beach project and also her vision to develop heritage and cultural tourism for Senya Bereku.

Ampabo Nenyi Kweku Issiw VI, the paramount chief of Senya Beraku commended the MP for her humility and piety, he added that if such character is maintained for more than one term Awutu Senya West constituency will experience unprecedented development.

Nananom prayed and supplicated for ancestral protection and guidance for their daughter and assured her of their support as traditional leaders.

Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui was led by the Constituency Chairman Daniel Ako and Vice SB Okine, Ambassador Nana Larbie and a host of constituency and branch executives with clamouring town folks.
