The Gomoa Nyanyano Health Centre as today become one of the hospitals to have received a consignment of PPEs donated by Appomense Hope for Africa which was led by the Ambassador Leila Omar from Niarobi, Kenya to support the emergency relief and aid those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana.
It is envisaged that the PPEs which included N95 masks, disposable tissues, surgical gloves, Veronica buckets and Hand Sanitizers which was to boot the ongoing effort to fight COVID-19 pandemic.
Ambassador Leila Omar, Ambassador for Appomense Hope for Africa in Kenya- Ghana while presenting the items said, ” we understand the critical role that the Gomoa Medical Hospital is playing in the fighting against COVID-19 in Ghana. As the number of new cases increases in the country, it is key to ensure that all its staffs are adequately resourced through the provision of PPEs so they can continue to tackle this pandemic from the frontline.
“At Appomense Hope for Africa, we live up to our brand promise, we here for good, particularly in times of this adversity and hope the PPEs will continue keeping you safe as you fight against COVID-19” she finalised.
