The National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, AMB. Alhaji Said Sinare over the weekend donated 20 bags of cement to the Zingu Electoral area through their Assemblyman, Hon. Wahab Nuhu to supports the reconstruction of a bridge that was washed away by a torrential downpour.
The bridge which links Zingu to Anhiweo, Charia, Cheria, Duase, and its environs has been a major challenge to the movement of persons and goods from in and around that enclave for the past years due to serious structural deformities.
The bridge since its inception has not received any proper rehabilitation despite several promises from the government and the Municipal Assembly to get it fixed and it has become a death trap to the good people of Zingu Electoral Area.
The Assemblyman, Mr. Wahab receiving the cement on behalf of the community expressed their profound gratitude to the National Vice chairman for always being there for the needy.
He seized the opportunity to recount some of the supports the former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Said Sinare had extended to some Ghanaians which he mentioned payments of schooling fees and renewal of rents among others.
He appealed to the National Democratic Congress, Constituency, and Regional Executives to vote and retain Alhaji Said Sinare in the upcoming National Executive Election.
The Assemblymember discloses that the party needs people like him (ALHAJI SAID SINARE) for the party’s victory in 2024.
He solicited for more support being in cash or kind from the general public to enable them to complete the project to facilitate the free movement of the people and vehicles in the Zingu Electoral area.
