Hon. Della Sowah Joins Kpando Constituency Mammoth Football Gala

As one of the initiatives to harness football talents and promote sports in Kpando and it’s environs, the Member of Parliament for the Constituency, Hon. Della Sowah in partnership with John Painstsil Football Academy, has organized a week long football competitions among her constituents.

So far, over 40 highly hardworking and talented young future stars has been scouted for the various football academies owned by former Ghana Black Stars players.

The Grand Finale took place today at Kpando Sports Stadium between the Former Black Stars and Akpini Stars.

The MP in her closing remarks assured the good people of Kpando that Astro Turf Football pitch she lobbied for would soon be constructed. According to her, sport infrastructure is not independent to sport development.

Present at the program is the MP for Ho West and Chairman of Volta MPs Caucus, Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, Afadjato South MP, Hon. Angela Alorwu-Tay, Hon. James Gunu, Volta Regional Secretary, Madam Hajia Taheru, Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Angelo Norkplim Agbodzie, Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, Ms Evelyn Gaglozu, Deputy Regional Treasurer. Some Constituency executives from Kpando led by Comrade Nelson Deh, Constituency Youth Organizer were also present.
